When Jesus promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” have you ever considered in which manner of how He’ll be treating you? I can certainly guess, but if I can find out what He promises, then I find something sure that He’ll be faithful to. God’s Word says:

“For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor My covenant of peace be removed…” –Isaiah 54:10

While God is daily rejecting the idea of forsaking you, He is treating you with His kindness. If God’s kindness had an expiry date, the mountains would have to expire before God’s kindness expires, but His eternal Word says His kindness shall not depart from you. In other words, it’s easier to remove a mountain away from you than to remove God’s kindness away from you. Or I can also say it this way:

God’s kindness is more reliable in durability than the durability of mountains. Mountains will wear down before God’s kindness does.

“That in the ages to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace IN HIS KINDNESS toward us in Christ Jesus.” –Ephesians 2:7

We are living in those ages now. If there is a way in which God desires to reveal the exceeding riches of His grace, He would express it in HIS KINDNESS. And this kindness that He has for you is a kindness that is definitely undepartable and unremovable!
